This course will enhance the user's ability to operate safely in adverse weather conditions and the first part of this course is intended for pilots and de-icing crews operating in icing conditions on ground, while the second part is for pilots operating in icing conditions in-flight.
The course covers; conditions causing ground icing, problems caused by ground icing, types of de-icing fluids and their characteristics, de-icing operations and in-flight anti-icing operations.
